Who We Are
A First Nations–led creative hub offering workshops, mentoring, and cultural enterprise. We support art, storytelling, and community connection.
We centre First Nations voices while welcoming all into spaces of cultural learning, healing, and creative collaboration.
The Goodways Project is on a journey toward a permanent home. This will allow our programs to expand with consistency and create enduring impact.

What We Do
The Goodways Project provides consistent, culturally grounded opportunities for individuals, groups, and communities. Through workshops, mentoring, gatherings, and creative enterprise, we create spaces where culture, art, and storytelling come alive. Our programs are designed to nurture identity, strengthen intergenerational connections, and build pathways for self-determination—while remaining open and inclusive to all who wish to learn, share, and create together.
-
Weekly cultural workshops in art, artefact-making, Yidaki, screen printing, storytelling, and creative enterprise.
-
Guidance and leadership development for First Nations youth and emerging artists.
-
Men’s circles, family events, and Elders’ yarns fostering belonging and wellbeing.
-
Skill-building in design, branding, and small business for First Nations creatives.
-
We provide regular mentoring, creative development, and leadership opportunities, helping young people grow in confidence, skill, and cultural pride.
-
Storytelling circles, cultural gatherings, and shared creative practices ensure wisdom is passed on and communities stay connected across generations.
-
Our cultural education programs bring art, story, and music into classrooms, offering hands-on learning experiences that build understanding and respect from an early age.
-
By making First Nations creativity visible through exhibitions, markets, and collaborative projects, we foster pride, belonging, and stronger community connections.
